The transitional provisions are considered legal means to address problems related to the entry into force of the constitution.

They are the bridge between the new constitutional text and the old one.

Whereby, various Algerian constitutions included different transitional texts including these related to the legislative power, to ensure its continuity during the transitional period preceding the investiture of the legislative institutions established by the new constitutional texts
