Banks are often blamed for their reluctance to finance small SMEs while large companies do not seem to suffer from a decline in their funding lines.
This article deals with the issue of SME banking relationships that are marked by difficulties and conflicts whose origin relates to divergent objectives and the opportunism of the actors.
We try to highlight the constraints of SME access to bank financing in Algeria through a field study on a sample of SMEs in the wilaya of Béjaïa.

Les banques sont souvent pointées du doigt pour leur frilosité envers le financement des petites PME alors que les grandes entreprises ne semblent pas souffrir d’un tassement de leurs lignes de financement.
Cet article traite la question des relations bancaires nouées par la PME qui se trouvent marquées de difficultés et de conflits dont l’origine se rapporte à des objectifs divergents (Ziane, 2004) et l’opportunisme des acteurs (Gardès et Maque, 2012).
Nous essayons de mettre en exergue les contraintes d’accès des PME au financement bancaire en Algérie à travers uneétude de terrain sur un échantillon de PME dans la wilaya de Béjaïa.
