Abstract EN

This article demonstrates the factors that influence media performance in Algeria from 1990 to 2015, and thus provides us an approximate view of the environment in which journalists are active and characterize the professional performance of Algerian journalists.In fact, taking a close look at the reality of the media practices in Algeria illustrates that the freedom stipulated in the legislation and laws surrounded by wide ranges of legal, political, economic as well as professional obstacles, which led to the lack of responsibility, objectivity in addition to accuracy in the flow of information in many of the Algerian daily newspapers.

At the same context, this field of study aims at understanding the controls that govern the performance of communicators in the Algerian daily newspapers, and we will also attempt to highlight the forms of breaking out of the legislative and ethical control.
