The role of civil society networks in capacity building of NGOs : applied study on Syrian civil society organizations in Turkey-Gaziantep

The study aimed to identify the contribution of the Syrian civil society networks working in Turkey in building the capacities of the organizations affiliated with it and to achieve the objectives of the study and test hypotheses.

The theoretical study was based on knowledge of civil society networks and capacity building and their concept, as well as on the practical framework through designing a questionnaire appropriate to the subject Study and hypotheses.

One of the main findings of the study is that the Syrian civil society networks operating from Turkey play an important role in building the capacities of the organizations affiliated with them in terms of ability to exist, ability to work and ability to build relations and communication.

The study recommended the need to develop capacity building programs for volunteers and holders of higher degrees, and the need to establish networks of similar organizations in the activity.
