Abstract EN

The following essay deals with the role which is placed by Bachelard's epistemology in forming the philosophical basis for the modern physics.

This epistemology brought a new system that had paved the way for a new phase in knowledge.

Through this system Bachelard exceeded the classical philosophical systems; he shed light on the old relationship between philosophy and scientific knowledge which seems to be inseparable under any condition.

What characterizes Bachelard's philosophy is the fact that it clarifies the interference between experience and mind through the logical steps that are applied by the scientific discoveries.
