This article treats the subject of the context and its various types, its elements ,and its circumstances.

The context is seen as an essential element and indispensable component in the analysis of speeches and words , and directing its implications at the level of texts.

To clarify more the importance of this idea, we had to reveal the centrality of this issue in the origins of Arab thinking on several levels, and with the findings of the modern theorising .

We shall stress the value of the context as a basic reference in the process of discoursing , and identification of speech methods and purposes in the process of communication..
