Abstract EN

This study was conducted during the period 2011-2013 in Bushraghi and Eramo in Lattakia Governorate (Syria) in apples orchards.

Samples of infested apple fruits were collected to determine the parasitoids from the pest.

The parasitoid Mastrus ridibundus Gravehorst (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) was recorded as an internal parasitoid on fully grown larvae at cocoon stage.

The parasitoid was classified according to specific references, and it was recorded for the first time in Syria.
