We have different priorities -purpose fields and the banks that have tended to endowments according to the priorities of the community and the state of civilization through which the progress and backwardness and there are historical examples of many Oukviac multiple in the Arab world , including what it was for the animal and plant and natural resources , libraries , etc.

but the endowment needed to remove the mental image of misinformation around that only for specific purposes is not linked to sustainable development nor civil society .

This paper will address the role of the endowment in sustainable development through the following: •First: Awqaf relationship to sustainable development.

•Second: the role of in sustainable economic development.

•Third : the role of Awqaf in sustainable social development.
