Abstract EN

In general ,The aim of this research was to study the level of rationalization of the irrigation water consumption in the AI-Alam distract and to assess the level of rationalization in each of the following fields (surface irrigation, sprinkler irrigation, drop irrigation) and finding the correlation between the level of rationalization of irrigation water consumption and the following independent factors ( The source of irrigation, the source of information, the attitude towards rationalizing the consumption of irrigation water) and to determine the problems of agriculture in the field of rationalization of irrigation water consumption in AI- Alam distract.

The research included all the respondents in the AI- Alam distract.

who are carrying out the agricultural crops (391).

A simple random sample of 25% was taken from the farmers, so that the total of the sample was (102).

In order to collect the necessary data, a questionnaire was prepared consisting of two parts.

The first part included a number of questions to obtain data related to variables related to agriculture.

The second part included four areas to measure the level of rationalization of farmers' consumption of irrigation water.

A number of statistical methods were used to analyze the most data of the study as (range, arithmetic mean, Pearson's law, Spearman's law, standard deviation).

The results of the research showed that the level of rationalization of the consumption of irrigation water medium tends to decline and found that the highest level of rationalization of irrigation water consumption was in the field of drip irrigation and the lowest level of rationalization of irrigation water consumption in the field of sprinkler irrigation, and the results showed a significant correlation with A number of independent factors, as the results of the study showed a number of problems, the problem of power failure ranked first.

The researchers concluded that farmers need training in the use of irrigation systems and the need for large-scale farmers to train in ways of rationalizing the consumption of irrigation water.

Also, The researchers recommend that to held courses for farmers in the use of irrigation systems and the need to train farmers That they have Large areas.
