Abstract EN

The present study is a conceptual review of the Genetic system (Gérard Genette).

Our study falls within the framework of the linguistic criticism of Genetic work through his book Palimpsestes published by Le Seuil, Paris, in 1982.

This study was done in the concept of textual transcendence between a central translation of the Syrian, critic Mohammed Khair al-Beqa'i and the Moroccan critic Mokhtar Hosny.

Furthermore, the study was conducted in light of the fragmentation of individual and institutional efforts, not to mention the instability of terms in the mother tongue.

The study showed that non-adherence to a controlled translation approach has caused a major disruption in use, as it made difficult the connection between the Mashreq and the Maghreb.

In comparison, it became clear to us that one of the translations remained at the level of the definition of concepts, as Hosni copied Al- Beqa'i’s translation without respect of reference and scientific faithfulnes Therefore, what is the justification for such a translation if the new vision of the translator is not fulfilled? While variation appears at the level of formulation / construction of the term, Al-Beqa’i adopted French structure in the production of terms, Hosni committed himself to Arabic grammar.
