English Abstract

The aim of this study was to detected the effect of phytase purified from P.ostreatus (11L) compared with other sources such as commercial Phytase , fruitbodies and spent substrates of P.

ostreatus on some growth parameters in female Albino Rats was studied.

The results showed that highest growth parameters recorded by commercial phytase and purified phytase from P.ostreatus (11L) compared with control and other treatments.

There were no weight loss and mortality for rats in all treatments.

Among the enzymes types, Gain in wt (g), and ADG (gday-1 ), were the highest in 0.03% of purified phytase resulting in 17.4g and 0.50g/day , respectively without significant differences (P>0.01) While the results of hematological parameters showed that increased of WBC, RBC counts, Hb , and MCHC in 0.03% of purified phytase resulting in 8.63 X103 /mm3 ,7.82 X106 /mm3 , 14.55g/dL ,and 40.99g/dL, respectively without significant differences among these contents in commercial phytase and other purified phytase concentrations .

On the other hand, the significantly lowest of PCV, MCV, and MCH was in commercial phytase and purified phytase from P.ostreatus compared to control and other treatments.

In blood biochemical parameters minimum concentrations of creatinine and urea were in 0.03% of purified phytase which were 0.54 and 16.61 mg/dL, respectively.

Although glucose and cholesterol in all phytase treatments were within normal range as compared to control, minimum concentrations were recorded in fruit bodies treatments.

Purified phytase at 0.03% also showed highest levels in albumin, globulin and total protein resulting in 4.8, 3.83 and 8.63 g/dL, respectively.

In addition to the lowest levels of AST and ALT significantly recorded in purified and commercial phytase.

All phytase types showed significant increase of blood minerals including P, K, Mg, Ca, Fe, Cl and Na decreased in rat feces phytase
