Abstract EN

The present study aimed to identify the level of sport achievement motivation among gymnastics, and to identify the role of the coach in raising motive to achieve success of gymnastics, and its role in reducing the motive to avoid failure of gymnastics.

The researcher adopted the case study methodology and the study sample consisted of 24 players who were chosen in a deliberate manner, the study was also based on the scale of sport achievement motivation by Allow consists of 20 items divided into two dimensions (the motive to achieve success, the motive to avoid failure).The results showed that there is a high level of sport achievement motivation among gymnastics, the coach has a role to enhancing the motive to achieve success as well as to enhancing the motive to avoid failure among gymnastics.
