the abstract It is commonly known that a set of treaties and deals were signed by in international meetings and conventions in the history of humanity.

The latter aimed at destroying the colonised country's political entity, and in the mean time, obliging these countries to be ruled under the authority of the coloniser.

Not only that but this practice also sought to destruct culture and identity.

On this historical fact, it is worth mentioning that in the Islamic nation and world Malek Ben Nabi is thought to be an emblematic and eminent thinker and intellectual who understood this phenomenon and provided us with an objective analysis and interpretation of the tenets of colonisation.

In fact, his deep ideas transgressed the mere historical reasoning to concern new ideas that explained how a country like Algeria, which was colonised by France, prepared itself to being colonised or as he termed it the " Colonisabilité".

His interpreation was unique and different from the other historical approaches.

In the sphere of this problematic, our work is meant to account for Benabi's view on colonoisation with a specific historical, interpretive methodology.
