Formation universitaire traduction en entreprise : vers une formation curriculaire en faveur du traducteur algerien

Abstract EN

Translation is this discipline that requires from its learner to perform long-life learning, even during the professional path.

Thus, every learning process includes two principal sections: theory and practice, which are closely linked that need to be carried out simultaneously, instead of being handled under duality optic.

In addition of an “innate” multilingualism that the Algerian translation learner is dealing with, not always easily, before his academic experience, the theory he learns doesn’t all the time suit in the practice, and the practice is not all the time warning about the real needs of the labour market.

Then, our translation academic training followed by experiencing the professional field, leaded us to make the following report: Academic training only, doesn’t allow the graduate to join the translation labour market.

In this regard, the first questions that we ask are as follow: Why? And How to deal with this challenge? In this study, we aim to give some answers by focusing on the training quality of the graduate stated above, and then this training opposing the labour market needs.
