Abstract EN
Shadow banking, or the so-called shadow banks, is a financial system that has extended, notably, in recent years.
The importance of these banks has increased after the global financial crisis (2007–2009).
This paper aims at providing an overview on shadow banks through highlighting their risks and the different methods of their regulation.
The results of this investigation show that the risks of these banks are higher than their advantages, which has affected negatively global financial stability.
