Abstract EN

It is know that the terms “metaphor”, “implication” and “adaptation” are of common use in the fields of art and especially Arabic poetry.

As all of these terms can be expressed by a unic therm such as “trope”.

However, the use of these terms can be either positive or negative in given contexts, providing that the objective remains the same.

But its overuse would negatively impact the artistic meanings of the text.

So, these artistic works would lose their didactic essence and objectives.
