Abstract EN

In old Arab poetry, space acquires its artistic dimension via two ways: the first is structural i.e, how it is formed and structured artistically; the second is functional related to the dimensions of this particular structure.

These two ways get open to important levels of reception.

In our study we will make use of “Mufathaliet” and “Mualakat” as references that hold an important position in the old arab poetry in terms of versification, choice, criticism.
