This article aims to follow the question of man in the context of the vision of modern Western philosophy and modern Arab Islamic thought.

The chronology of the evolution of events in Western thought indicates the beginning of God's disappearance behind human values.

When separation gradually begins between absolute value, everything becomes relative, and man ascends as a reference, becoming a standard and center of the universe.

But a man here is not ordinary man, but Superman is superior to his humanity.

Contrary to this vision, which proclaimed the birth of a self-sufficient man, we find the vision of the Islamic thinker Ali Izzat Begowitz, through which he announced his opinion on the question of the origin of man, and felt that it was created for God because the cause of creation is in fact the cause of human freedom.
