Preservaton of archaeology and heritage between the Jordanian : conflicts between Jordanian legislation and public interest

Abstract EN

This article aimed to shed light on the preservation of archaeology and heritage in Jordan, and the contradictions between laws andpublic interest.

This paper also presented a general overview of the history ofjordan’s laws on heritage and an explanation of the principle contemporary laws in Jordan that affect cultural heritage.
