Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the relationship between executive functions and attention deficit disorder in children with mild intellectual disabilities.

It also aimed to identify the effect of sex and age on executive functions and attention deficit disorder in this group of children.

The study sample consisted of (150) children with mild intellectual disability aged (6 - 14) years, and their intelligence level ranged from (55 70) degree in Qena Governorate and its local provinces – Egypt, The study used the executive function scale, the attention deficit disorder scale (researcher preparation), The results of the study indicated that there were a statistically significant positive correlation between the scores of children on the executive function scale and their scores on the Attention Deficit Disorder Scale.

The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences between the average scores of children on the executive function scale and the attention deficit disorder scale due to gender Or chronological age.
