Abstract EN

Translation is a means of communication and understanding, but it does not guarantee the exact equivalence for several reasons, the most important of which is the linguistic differences, especially between languages belonging to different cultures.

Translation is a discretionary work in which the perception of the original text is different with reference to the translator’s background, emotions, opinions and beliefs, mainly when he is faced with a sacred text like the Qur'an? Hence, the issue of translating the meanings of the Qur'an has attracted the attention of researchers.

In this research, I shed light on religious translation with consideration of the religious terminology that carries religious and cultural dimensions to define, as a result, the conditions that must be available in the translator.
