Abstract EN

The present study aims at identifying levels of psychological health among a chosen group of second year secondary students in the city of Laghouat.

The enquiry also hopes to understand the variables of psychological health considering changes of gender and specialty using a descriptive method.

The study took place in some secondary schools in Laghouat and a research population which accounts to 464 students of both genders.

The module, which was adopted for the study, is the psychological health conducted and introduced by Al-Koraiti and Al-Shaks (1992).

As for the program, the researcher has considered the statistical bundle known as (spss) in analysing the data.

The study has shown that the psychological health levels of secondary school students SE2 are low.

There are also statistical differences in psychological health especially in favour female students.

Finally, the analysis demonstrated that there are no statistical differences of psychological health based on specially such as scientific or literary streams.
