Abstract EN

This research discusses the status quo of the Palestinian refugees in being able to exercise their rights according to the Islamic Sharia laws and the international declarations and agreements.To approach this study, one needs to study the teachings and laws of Islamic Sharia to see the Islamic stand regarding this issue.

Refugees have long been deprived of their basic rights for various reasons.

One is that most of the concerned countries have neglected and conspired against this critical issue.

Another reason is that the refugees themselves are not fully aware of their own rights which are stated in the Islamic Sharia and the man-made Laws.

,To fulfill the aim of this research, I defined the term “refugee” stated in the Quran and Sunna".

Then I cited some examples of taking refuge from ancient ages and religions.

Following that, I talked about the causes of taking refugee as stated in the Islamic Sharia and Laws.

Finally, I gave a detailed elaboration of the rights of refugees in Islam.
