Abstract EN
The current valuation of foreign languages comes from the demand of a society wishing to be up to date.
Learning one and a lot more foreign languages means giving the individual the means to broaden his horizons, to enrich his ability to act and to influence, to increase the circle of individuals with whom he is potentially ready to communicate.
According to S.
Boubakour (1) But, how to arouse the motivation of young learners, what pedagogical approach (s) adopted? In this article we want to highlight particularly the nature of the tale and its use in class, to show the usefulness of tales as a method of language promotion.
And to begin this reflection, questions to our questions: What is a story? How is it built? What are the issues at the reader level: at the personal level, linguistically, in terms of possible reconciliation with the learning situation? Why is storytelling a useful educational tool in schools? How to help students take ownership of storytelling, in other words, how can it be exploited in the classroom as part of the teaching / learning of foreign languages?
