Abstract EN

The research aims to identify the innovation management indicators at universities (Al-Azhar, Islamic University) from the viewpoint of faculty members and ways to activate it, and explore whether there is statistically significant differences at (0.05 ≥ α) between the mean scores of the participants estimate of innovation indicators due to variables (sex, college, and years of service).

To achieve this, the researcher used descriptive and analytical approach and the application of the tool questionnaire consists of 60 items distributed on (4) areas, and on a sample of (200) faculty member in the (Al-Azhar University, the Islamic University) Gaza province, the results revealed that : The total degree of overall appraisal of members of the sample to the reality of innovation management indicators (75.94 %), and to a large degree, where in the second area (IQ systemic thinking) to first place by (77.77 %), followed by (quality and future vision) for second place relative weight (76.98 %), followed by the first domain (innovation and heavy investment) on the third place with a relative weight (75.63 %), and finally the third field (the mental variety style) on the last place with a relative weight (73.37 %).

No statistically significant differences between the mean scores of estimation respondents to the reality of management innovation indicators attributed to variables (gender, college, years of service).

In the light of these results a set of proposals that may contribute to the activation of Innovation Management at the Universities of indicators (Al-Azhar, Islamic) in the last three areas, were cited.

The study recommended the establishment of a special unit in every university that specializes in the management of innovation.
