Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the conflict administration strategies applied by high school principals in Sana’a City and its relationship to teachers’ administrative commitment.

The overall population of this study was composed of 550 teachers and was randomly selected from the community of the study.

The researcher used two questionnaires to elicit the required data; measuring administrative conflict and administrative commitment respectively after ensuring their consistency and credibility.

Results concluded that principals use all conflict strategies to administer it and that the commonly used strategy is compromising.

It showed a statistically significant relationship between all the strategies of conflict administration and the questionnaire's dimensions of administrative commitment.

The researcher recommends boosting principals awareness by offering suitable training chances in managing the administrative conflict Keywords: conflict - conflict management strategies - organizational commitment
