Sociology has become problematic looking for a solution, and can be summarized the problem of sociology in its current situation in the possibility of forming a scientific theory of Arab sociology, the first on a functional basis, and the second on the basis of historical materialism, so the sociological research in the Arab world, but we can not claim yet That we are able to build our own theories and methodologies in this field, and that the theories of this science, developed to understand the problems and issues of the West, can not be generalized to similar problems in the Islamic world, and do not lead to an understanding of the reality of Muslim societies, which leads us to the main question of research is as Are the studies and social sciences in the Arab and Islamic world playing the same role they played and still play in Western societies ? Is this science a building block in the way of construction, development and development or a demolition dependency that consecrates the cognitive and intellectual dependency of the West and does not suit us and the specificity of our Arab and Islamic societies and failed to provide effective solutions to social, economic, political and intellectual problems in our Arab and Islamic world? What are the obstacles that constitute Arab sociology ? Is there an Arab sociology that is more useful and logical ? What are the most important difficulties that prevent the establishment of Arab sociology in the Arab world.
