Abstract EN

Research plays an important role in public relations (PR) and communications, in both private and government sectors.

Without research, management of public relations, promotional, public affairs and related communications programs and activities would be operating in the dark, without any guidance or clear sense of direction.

Public relations use research to recognize problems, participate in problem solving, prevent and manage crises, make organizations responsive and accountable to their constituencies, to create better regulatory policy, and to build and preserve long-term relationships with the public.

Good knowledge of research methods and data analyses allow public relations practitioners be in the dominant situation and a way to reveal the value and importance of their activities.

So that, research is the strategic basis of recent public relations management.

Public relations uses research to identify problems, participate in problem solving, prevent and manage crises, make organizations responsive and accountable to their constituencies, to create better regulatory policy, and to build and maintain long-term relationships with the public.
