This study aim to explore the extent of using Drama to obtain social skills.

The adaptive behavior scale of American association, which was metered to the Saudi environment to assist social skills, has been used in this study.

Three important areas of the scale was used, which is: 1- Economic activity, which includes: dealing in money, setting a budget, and assigning purchasing tasks.

2- Self-direction, including: initiative, persistence.

3- Social skills, including: interacting with others, participating in group activities, social maturity.

The study sample included (4) students who had a slight intellectual disability, enrolled in the intellectual education program at King Khalid Intermediate School in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

A one-group experimental curriculum (one-case design) named (A-B) was used as a method of this study to measure the student’s pre and post level of their social skills.

The study applied (4) training sessions over a period of two weeks, and the results indicated that there are differences between the level of premeasurement (before applying the training program) and post (after applying the training program) in favor of post-measurement, which means the effectiveness of using drama as a strategy to increase social skills for students with intellectual disability
