Abstract EN

The purpose of this paper is to highlight the contribution of national information systems to the free access of information to Algerian university libraries by building national information systems that provide the necessary information to support scientific research without financial or legal constraints.

The study concluded that the national information systems in Algeria are a privilege that gives them the opportunity to develop their scientific research, as well as raising the scientific efficiency in Algerian universities.

This is reflected in the modernization of these systems according to other international systems.
