Abstract EN

This research focuses on the literary discourse in the ancient Arab heritage at Al-Jahiz through its aesthetic and pilgrimage dimensions, which contribute to the purpose of persuasion and to attract listeners to a certain thought.

The focus was in this regard on the art of the literary discourse that needs to be practiced and taught in the delivery (255), especially in his thesis "Al-Bayan wa Taibeen".

This research included a mention of the concept of the pilgrim image, as well as analysis of the sacred foundations of the sermon and its connection to the pilgrim dimensions in modern Western thinking in a "parliament" During the unit The goal is between them (heritage, western thinking), influence and persuasion, in addition to linking them to the linguistic and deliberative lesson related to activating the speaker of the deliberative issues related to the purpose of the speech and the intention in it.

Finally, the focus should be on the aesthetic of rhetorical images in the sermon such as metaphor and metaphor.
