Abstract EN

The modern public dialects contains a part of the classical arabic and its dialects, besides to this, the enterer of some new phonological phenomenons, but it is unknown neither how it developed or how it differed and branched, it seems that the public dialects are very affected by the classical Arabic.

How no and the dialect is derived from the same source of language, specially in the phonolical part.

For that, the research focused on a phonological phenomenon passed from the old Arabic dialects to the new ones exactly the dialect of Jijel, in which we notice clearly this phonological phenomenon known as Deflection.

As a result, the research highlighted the Deflection in dialect and cleared up the relashionship between the language and dialect, also it took some linguistic examples that was exist in the old dialect and the coranic lectures, as it explains some examples of deflections exist in Jijel’s dialect and how to pronounce it.
