Abstract AR
Abstract EN
The objectives of this study are both descriptive and theoretical within the mainstream of the current syntactic theory, namely, Chomsky's (1995) minimalist program.
This study attempts to formulate an articulated structure of age and explore configurationally and categorical accounts of subj.
predicate and v_subj.
insofar agreement features are concerned.
The radical deals with age as a strong functional category in the former because the agreement features are drawn from the lexicon and have the [+interpretable] power at lf.
However, in the latter structure, age is weak and is eliminated from the lexicon, as it does not have visible interpretable features to be checked in the output of the same level.
We will argue that age is as essential as t since age does the function of feature as we case checking.
Do agreement features are drawn from the lexicon for emphasis and are not liable for checking by p.
