This research seeks to study the linguistic term that used in the linguistic arena.

Is it a heritage term or a modern one? Despite the stablility of the linguitic and official bodies on the priority recours to the term heritage, we noticed in some of the arabic literature that the aauthors are diligent in translating the terminology in an individual way which led to the emergence of many problems.

To limit these problems, we chose to present a study in the glossary of linguistic terms, which combines traditional and modern terms.
