استخدام أنموذج (ARDL)‎ لتقدير دالة الانتاجية الزراعية في العراق للمدة (1970-2015)‎

Abstract EN

The importance of the agricultural sector lies in its great role in the national economy, which is to provide the necessary food for the population and to provide the necessary economic resources to the other economic sectors, apart from its role in employment a large proportion of the labor force and its significant contribution to increasing agricultural exports.

Based on this, the current study aimed at using the methodology of cointigration using the ARDL model for estimating and analyzing the agricultural production function in Iraq for the period 1970-2015 to determine the nature of the long- run relationship between the average labour's share of agricultural value added and The labour's share of the factors of production (land, fertilizer, machinery and animal) in addition to two Dummy variables that represent the war and the economic blockade.

The study also aimed to test the hypothesis of constant return to scale in the model.

The study concluded that there is a long-run equilibrium relationship between the explanatory variables with the dependent variable, which is about 100% of the short-run deviations will be modified and corrected in the unit of time i.e.

one year, the factors involved in the model as explanatory variables Differ in their effects on the dependent variable which is the labour productivity in the short run and the long run.
