أثر بعض المتغيرات الاقتصادية على الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر في الاقتصاد الأردني خلال الفترة (2000-2016)‎

Abstract EN

This study aimed at clarifying the role of some economic variables on foreign direct investment in Jordan during the period (2000-2016) such as: The gross domestic product (GDP), the degree of economic freedom, inflation, the interest rate and the dinar exchange rate against the dollar.

The study used empirical approach to estimate the relationship (ARDL method).

The main results were: There is a positive role for both the GDP and economic liberalization on foreign direct investment, while the relationship between it and both inflation and the interest rate is negative.

The study recommended to encourage foreign investments through providing the appropriate climate and overcoming all obstacles in order to attract more foreign investments.
