Abstract EN

The present study “Memory processes and Their Relation to some variableforUniversity Students” aims at: 1- Knowing the memory processes (remembering and forgetting process memory efficiency, retaining processing, and recalling processes) for college of basic Education.

2- Knowing the differences between the (remembering and recalling, memory efficiency, retaining processing, and recalling processes) for college of basic Education according to the variables of sex and specialization and according to the following hypothesis: a.

There are no statically differences at the level of (0.05) between males and females in the memory processes the (remembering and recalling, memory efficiency, retaining processing, and recalling processes).

b.

There are no statically differences at the level of (0.05) between scientific and human specialization in the memory processes the (remembering and recalling, memory efficiency, retaining processing, and recalling processes).

The methodology of study: The comparative descriptive followed for its suitability with the variables.

The samples of study: The scale of measuring memory was applied on a sample of (200) student.

The research tool is using Abdon Scale 1993 for memory process.

The result of study shows: 1- The average for the four processes the (remembering and recalling, memoryefficiency retainingprocessing,andrecalling processes), because the methods used in teaching focus on memory only and does not require any other process of memory.

2- There are no statically differences between males and females in the four memory processesfor females.

3- There are no statically between scientific and human specialization in the memory processes in the memory processes for the human specialization.
