The research aiming to determine the degree of knowledge of arabic and mathematics teachers at the primary level about the learning disabilities of students in terms of their knowledge (basic concepts-areascharacteristics- tools and mechanisms for detection and diagnosis-effective teaching methods-and the adequacy of the implementation of intervention programmes).the researcher used the descriptive methodology.

the research sample consists of (96) Arabic and mathematics teachers at the primary schools where the learning disabilities program is located.

the researcher designed a questionnaire to measure teacher’s degree of knowledge of student’s learning disabilities.

the results showed that the degree of knowledge of Arabic language teachers ranging from above average to high , while the knowledge of mathematics teachers ranging from medium to high.

moreover, the degree of knowledge of Arabic language teachers at the primary level of learning disabilities is greater than knowledge of mathematics teachers.

in addition, results indicated no significant statistics differences in the degree to which Arabic and mathematics teachers at the primary level are aware of learning disabilities with: the levels of years of experience, scientific qualification, and the training courses.

as well as the result showed that there was no statistically interaction between the subject (Arabic / mathematics) and the level of years of experience, scientific qualification, and training courses on the total degree of knowledge about the learning disabilities of students.
