Abstract EN

The study about the social life of people of the Sultanate of Dehli for the period (602 - 815 A.H / 1206 - 1412, A.D>.

Those people arrived to the Sultanate by land and sea, and became part of the Indian society which is composed of many different races and creeds .and where they had created colonies and spread their customs and tradition alongside with the natives Indians.

The Indian society consists of two different classes* the higher class that has the power and wealth and the low class which represents most of the citizens of Sultanate of Dehli.

The study has also spoken about the people who reached the Sultanate of Delhi in the Mamluks state.

As for the slaves who were in the Sultanate of Dehli, they were different in races and colors‘although this did not apply men or women* who worked in the palaces of the sultans the princes and nobles.

Women's in the Sultanate of Dehli had participated in different activities.

The Islamic society in the Sultanate had celebrated Eid al-Fitr and Al-Adha* the Turkish Nowruz Eid, Ramadan and the victorious return of the sultan from his wars with delightfully and infinity gratefulness.

The marriage in the Sultanate of Dehli had customs and traditions that were in line with Islamic law and has followed the habits and customs of Muslim societies in funerals* consolation and burial.
