Abstract EN
In this paper, a new hexahydrotriazine derivative which have the structure 1,3-bis(4-fluorophenyl)-5-butyl-1,3,5-triazacyclohexane was synthesized by the condensation reaction of a 1 : 2 : 1 ratio, 4-fluoroaniline and butylamine with formalin in a basic solution.
The synthesized compound was characterized by elementary analysis and spectroscopic methods IR, UV, mass spectroscopy, 1H and 13C NMR.
The new triazacyclohexane has been screened for its antimicrobial activity against Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria by the diffusion on agar medium.
