Rabigh City is one of the cities of al-Hejaz in Saudi Arabia, is loeated on the cast coast of the Red Sea, It has become a significant place for Muslims, sincc the pilgrims have taken it as a place to initiate their Pilgrimage, the pilgrims start their rctuals Upon their arrival to the port of Rabegh- they were acaisionally accompanied by travelers and historian from the East and West who recorded their observation about the city and port of Rabegh they wrote about the city historically politically and culturally.

Some travelers and historians to recorded their observation of this Town history politically and culturally.

This research is showing the roles of those travellers and historians in recording the historyof modem history of Rabegh the city.
