The study aimed to identify the accessibility of students with intellectual disabilities to general education curricula, and to identify the necessary adjustments in the curricula and the impact of environmental variables in achieving access, and highlighted the challenges that constitute an obstacle to achieving access.

In order to achieve the objective of the present study, the researchers the analytical descriptive approach to suit the purpose of the study.

The results of the study showed that educational programs designed for people with intellectual disabilities must be designed according to the principles of comprehensive, holistic and holistic design of their needs, even those with severe disabilities.
