This paper aims to study the problem of sustainable development by addressing the following elements: Origin, concept, objectives, principles, dimensions, indicators, requirements and obstacles, with reference to the state of sustainable development in the Arab world and its specificities and requirements.
The study concluded that there are many achievements in the field of sustainable development in the Arab region, including the economic aspects, and Social and environmental issues.
