In this paper, we seek to understand the extent to which private and public economic institutions in Algeria are interested in the issue of environmental dimension in their production process, through their application to the regulations of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), including the Environmental Management System (EME) And effective environmental management systems (TQM).

With all the jurisprudence and regulations developed by the organization, it is still fragile given the number of ISO 14001 certified enterprises.

Therefore, the state should follow an optimal environmental policy in which it seeks to balance the benefits accruing On society through Activities carried out by environmental-related institutions with damage from environmental pollution.
