Abstract EN

The search aims to identify the status of education in Iraq, the internal and external problems facing the educational system, and its impact, in addition to identifying the problems of education in Iraq from the teachers` point of view, and the obstacles that impede the development of Iraqi education, also to find out the solutions and determine strategy for the development of the educational system in Iraq and keeping pace with global changes.

the researcher used the descriptive analytical method to suit the research function.

the research sample consisted of (100) male and female teachers, supervisors and school administrators.

the questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data from the research sample.
