Abstract EN

The present research aims at uncovering the cultural patterns in the poetry of Nizar Qabani devoted for the Former Egyptian President Jamal Abdul-Nasir.

The researchers showed these patterns and explained how they affect deconstructing the text and violating its meanings.

The research consisted of three sections preceded by an introduction and a prelude and followed by results and references.

The prelude was devoted to talk about the political life of the Former Egyptian President Jamal Abdul-Nasir.

Section one tackled the concept and terminology of the pattern and how old Arab and Western critics studied it.

Section two studied the patterns of authority like gut instinct and knowledge.

Section three displayed the social patterns like treachery, treason and silence.
