Aging are not new phenomena in the life of any old or new society.

they have become an important problem not only for the society but for the elderly themselves.

the emergence of this problem in its different aspects led to attention to study and avoid its causes and meet its needs.

measurement of social psychosocial impairment in older persons.

2 - identification of the significance of the branches according to the gender variable (male-female).

the present research was limited to elderly persons over the age of 60 years for males and 55 years to females of elderly living in their homes and the elderly living in social care homes in Baghdad.
