Abstract EN

This study discuses teaching grammar methods in the curriculum of middle school.

The study focuses on the learner's use of grammar in different communication situations and teachers' selection of methods that meet the needs of different learners categories and their social specifications.

The study is also to show methods and means to present grammar to pupils and the purposes to teaching it.

The field study identifies the reasons that impede teaching grammar in order to suggest solutions and alternatives that can help teaching grammar successfully in the Algerian school.
