In the first quarter of the nineteenth century there was an important development in the relationship of the Ottomans in the Sudan, when the ruler of Egypt, Muhammad Ali Pasha, asked the Ottoman Sultan to issue a firman that allowed him to enter the Sudan and annex it in the name of the Ottoman Empire.

Despite the dissatisfaction of the Ottoman Sultan, Which reflects the strength of the ruler of Egypt and at the same time the weakness of the Ottoman Empire and its dominion.

In this study, we will try to highlight the most important motives that prompted Muhammad Ali Pasha to carry out his campaign against Sudan in 1821 and how his campaign Sudan to the Egyptian government Manny despite the resistance received by the Sudanese tribes in that period, and we will try to address the rulers of Egypt after the death of Muhammad Ali Pasha and their relationship with Sudan, trying to exposure Gmadarih system applied by the rulers of Egypt in Sudan, and the outgrowth of the situation in Sudan by this system.
