Joint projects are an agreement between two or more parties to invest on the basis of partnership and in a particular field of economic activity.

On this basis, the Arab countries agreed, and in accordance with the Charter of the League of Arab States, which affirmed the cooperation and coordination between the group of Arab States members of the League.

In 1953, the project started with three projects in different economic fields.

This activity was cooled and between 1973 and 1989, this period was active in establishing joint projects, including industrial projects.

The number of joint industrial projects reached the end of the eighties.

129 projects between the extractive industry and manufacturing industry out of a total of 391 projects in different sectors and it is not clear whether there are new projects after this period and it seems that the events experienced by the Middle East region has a clear impact on the course of investment in the region in general and industrial in particular, and by reviewing the march of these Industrial projects for the period 2008-2017 The contributions of the extractive and transformative industries were not effective in the GDP.

The performance of the joint industrial projects was weak and still lagging behind the global industry.

They can advance them towards a better course if the visions agree away from political differences and focus on economic aspects in support of the interests of the Arab peoples.
